PRISMATIC GROUND 2025
April 30 – May 4
Prismatic Ground, an annual NYC festival centered on experimental and avant-garde film, returns for a fifth edition, from April 30-May 4. With screenings at BAM, Light Industry, Metrograph, and Anthology, this year’s festival promises to be full of more boundary-pushing work, analogue film, elevated discussions, and special appearances. The Anthology screenings (which will take place on Wednesday, April 30 and Saturday & Sunday, May 3 & 4) will include a tribute to Indian filmmaker Kumar Shahani (1940-2024), a key figure in the Parallel cinema movement.
