2026 CUBAN FILM FESTIVAL: SALVUS

August 13-16, 2026

Anthology collaborates once again with the Cuban Cultural Center of New York to host their annual film festival. This year’s festival represents a riveting cinematic immersion into the work of nine contemporary Cuban filmmakers based in Berlin, Spain, Paris, Havana, and the U.S., highlighting a wide range of themes: immigration, art, adolescent angst, ballet, autism, comedy, and political assassination; and, as a leitmotif, the endless human quest for safety. The series of highly acclaimed feature films includes Q&As with some of the directors or protagonists.
